Teshie, Accra – Pastor Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), has officially announced the release of his latest book, The 2:42 Church, during the Day 3 Morning Session of the Greater Works Conference at ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie-Accra.
Introducing the new publication, Pastor Otabil said, “It’s called The 2:42 Church. The 242 Church is based on Acts 2:42 and talks about the four pillars that must continue in every church… apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, prayer, and breaking of bread.” He explained that the book doubles as a workbook, featuring questions and assignments at the end of each chapter to help readers apply its principles.
Recommending it to church leaders, he declared, “I just want to recommend this to every pastor. You’re going to need this for yourself, for your church, for your leaders as you seek to build a true church representing the New Testament.”
Pastor Otabil also highlighted his earlier 2026 release, Leading the Church, and revealed plans for another major publication on church training and discipleship. “I am committed to produce resources for pastors from now onwards… I am committed to helping the church be more effective in the way we understand ourselves, in our mission, in our governance, and in our understanding,” he said.
The two books are now available at the Altar Shoppe at ICGC Christ Temple East.
