ACCRA, Ghana — Founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil, has called on believers to cultivate greater sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, describing the ongoing Greater Works Conference 2026 as a divine moment that extends beyond individual expectations.
Speaking during the opening moments of the Day Two morning session at ICGC Christ Temple East in Teshie, Accra, Pastor Otabil reflected on the previous night’s message and emphasized that God is orchestrating something larger than personal breakthroughs.
“There are moments when you can think it’s about you, but it’s bigger than you,” he said, urging participants not to miss what God is doing during the conference.
The ICGC General Overseer encouraged worshippers to discern spiritual shifts, noting that believers must respond promptly whenever God moves.
“If there’s anything I’ve learned in my years of Christian life, it’s sensitivity to the Holy Spirit—learning what needs to be done at the right time,” he said. He warned that “missing God is very expensive” and encouraged attendees to remain attentive throughout the conference.
Pastor Otabil also welcomed delegates from across Ghana and online audiences worldwide, expressing confidence that the ministries of Bishop Tudor Bismark and Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo would further deepen the conference’s impact. He described Greater Works 2026 as a season where God is shifting lives, strengthening faith, and preparing His people for greater kingdom influence.
