ICGC minister encourages believers to exercise unwavering faith regardless of their present circumstances.
Faith remains the key that attracts God’s intervention, according to Rev. Christopher Yaw Annor, who urged Christians to continue believing God regardless of how impossible their circumstances may appear. He delivered the message during the opening Revival Saturday of ICGC’s annual 40 Days of Power at Christ Temple East, Teshie-Accra.
Drawing lessons from Lazarus’ resurrection and several miracles performed by Jesus, Rev. Annor explained that Christ has never changed; rather, it is people’s faith that has weakened over time. He challenged believers to refuse hopelessness and instead trust God’s unchanging character.
“Faith will always catch the attention of God. Wherever people exercise faith, God goes there.“
The pastor observed that many people conclude their situations are beyond redemption simply because human solutions have failed. However, he reminded worshippers that God’s power begins where human ability ends.
According to him, believers should continually receive God’s promises through Scripture because every word God breathes upon carries grace, power and the ability to produce miracles. He encouraged participants to write down the revelations God gives them during prayer and Bible study, describing them as words that will sustain them for future victories.
Rev. Annor concluded by affirming that Jesus Christ remains “the same yesterday, today and forever,” encouraging every believer to approach God with unwavering confidence throughout the fasting season.
