TESHIE, ACCRA – Pastor Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), has praised the outstanding music ministers who served during the Day 4 evening session of Greater Works 2026, describing them as gifted worshippers whose lives and ministries are enriching the Body of Christ.
Speaking at the conference held at ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie-Accra, Pastor Otabil highlighted the impact of the conference’s praise team, choirs, and guest music ministers, expressing gratitude for their dedication to God and excellence in ministry.
“The music ministry has been great,” he said. “We’ve had great special song ministers, great praise and worship from the ICGC Greater Works Praise Team, our original choirs, and special groups ministering. They have been a great blessing to us.”
He paid special tribute to Nathaniel Bassey, describing him as “a precious gift” with “a great heart for God,” while applauding Dunsin Oyekan for his “energy, drive, passion, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.”
Reflecting on their commitment, Pastor Otabil encouraged believers to discover and pursue God’s purpose with unwavering dedication. “Whatever God gives you to do, don’t relax about it. Do it with all your heart, with all your might. Spend yourself, be spent for it, give everything you have towards it, and allow God to use your gift to take you to high places.”
The ICGC leader also welcomed South African gospel singer, Minister Oncemore Six, who ministered at Greater Works for the first time. “This is his first time ministering, but he has ministered with such fluency of ministry and has been a blessing to us,” he said, thanking him and his family for enriching the Church through worship songs sung by believers across the world.
Pastor Otabil also honoured Ghanaian gospel minister Joe Mettle, describing him as “very consistent, very focused, very passionate” about both “the craft of the ministry as well as the spirituality of the ministry.”
Drawing a lesson from the music ministers and guest speaker Bishop Tudor Bismark, Pastor Otabil reminded believers that excellence in God’s Kingdom requires both human diligence and divine grace.
“Whatever we desire to do for the Lord, let us do it with intensity,” he said, adding that “everybody who is doing something great for God is very passionate about what they do. They are not lazy about what they do.”
His remarks challenged thousands gathered at Greater Works 2026 to pursue their God-given assignments with wholehearted commitment, excellence, and dependence on God’s grace.
