LIVINGOURBIBLE.COM I WEALTH CREATION
OBUASI, GHANA — Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei has revealed how a carefully developed seven-year poverty exit strategy transformed his life from financial hardship into institutional leadership and wealth creation.
Speaking during the morning session of Work for the Lord – Day 2, Obuasi Edition, on Friday, October 16, 2026, the renowned leadership educator challenged Christian leaders to combine faith with strategic planning, skill development and measurable goals.
Recalling his difficult beginnings in an uncompleted building on Spintex Road, he disclosed how he made a bold declaration to his wife.
“I don’t want poverty anymore, but I’ve developed a seven year plan. It’s called the poverty exit plan,” he recounted.
Bishop Titi-Ofei explained that his breakthrough began when he deliberately converted his natural abilities in speaking, thinking and writing into income-generating skills.
“I made myself a talkpreneur. I convert my words into wealth,” he declared.
He revealed that his journey eventually led to the establishment of the Graduate School of Governance and Leadership, which evolved into today’s University of Gold Coast.
“If you don’t give yourself targets, you will never arrive at any place,” he warned.
Emphasising the importance of purposeful action, he concluded, “Success is more of a strategy than effort.”
